The Life Partners Group (LPG) has been involved in strategic procurement of supplies for Commonwealth governments at times of crisis.  LPG is a Strategic Partner of the Commonwealth Enterprise & Investment Council and has a deep commitment to, and belief in, the Commonwealth Family of Nations.
Various geopolitical and ecological crises since 2020 have resulted in supply disruptions for certain strategic resources.  This has been particularly acute in countries reliant on imports.

The Group’s activities encompass the procurement of both short, medium and long term strategic hard & soft commodities and medical supplies as well as the development of real time point of care low-cost medical diagnostics.
Given risks of supply squeezes which have caused governments and corporates to pay inflated prices, the value of securing future supplies of commodities of strategic national importance in the medium to long term is hugely beneficial. Medium to long-term contracts at discounted prices mitigate the national security risks inherent within supply shocks caused through disease outbreaks, regional conflicts, natural disasters and the vicissitudes of market pricing.

Through its proprietary network of trusted suppliers directly through farmer’s associations and other owner/producers, LPG can source significant volumes of both hard and soft commodities on both short, medium and long term contracts at discounted prices to benchmark pricing.

About the Founder – Zoe Ley

Zoe Appleyard Ley has a lifetime of experience in Healthcare and Life Sciences.

She first became interested as a child when her godfather, the pharmacologist Sir John Vane, won the Nobel Prize for Medicine in 1982 and subsequently was instrumental in developing the COX-2 inhibitor pain relief drug and ACE inhibitor drugs to combat high blood pressure.

Zoe began her career in the City of London, first at Merrill Lynch and then Rothschild Ventures, where she specialised in Life Science clients. In 2000 she launched her own company, Life Capital, to specialise in medical ventures. It was sold in 2003.

Clients and associated companies have included:
Viacell (2003)
Revolugen (2005)
SR Pharma (2005)
Silence Therapeutics (2005)
Virexx Medical (2006)
Cardiatis NV (2014-2021)

From 2001 to 2006 she was a Trustee of the Royal Institution of Great Britain.

Zoe was an early proponent for C19 rapid testing devices and through one of her companies, Life Testing Solutions Ltd (LTS), she supplied C19 tests to Caribbean countries and corporations. LTS is also helping to develop rapid testing for TB, early onset Alzheimers and other neurological conditions with companies in the UK, Silicon Valley & Mexico.

At the onset of the COVID 19 Pandemic in 2020, Zoe founded the Life Partners Group, which became a Strategic Partner of the Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council (CWEIC) with focus on strategic procurement and food security, having helped source medical supplies at scale including for the UK Dept of Health and Social Care and other Commonwealth Countries.

A wholly owned subsidiary, Life Testing Solutions (LTS), was also formed to specifically enable rapid test solutions for a range of other ailments.

One of her major projects is a revolutionary pet food business focussed on the benefits of bio-organic nutrition. After rescuing a sick street dog on honeymoon, she and her husband Sven Ley used Sir John Vane’s theories on allergies and non-communicable diseases to explore the negative effect of traditional dog foods on canine lifespan. They developed The Rockster brand of food – named after the street dog they adopted, who lived to 21 years old.
